Randy Hall, 61, a retired BOLD teacher and coach, captured one gold and six total medals recently in three Southwest Florida pickleball tournaments. Hall repeated as champion in singles and also won silver in men’s doubles and bronze in mixed doubles at the Lee County Fort Myers Beach Games in February. Hall also took silver in men’s doubles and a bronze in mixed doubles at various other county games in Naples and Charlotte. Tags: sports, amateur, pickleball Randy will be running an intermediate PB class at Whitney in April. The class will be 9:30-10:30 AM during the four Wednesdays of April. Focus of the class will be improving skills and techniques. If you are interested in registering, contact Whitney Senior Center at 255-7245. Format will be round robin rotation with men's and women's brackets, followed by 'mixed' doubles play based on results of initial brackets. Sign up as a single and play with a different partner each round. Registration limited to 20. Club members have priority until October 31st at which point registration will open to non-members if not filled. Cost $5 members, $8 non-members.
